When I first started with my skin condition I wasn't sure if it was sweat related so exercising wasn't top of my list. I've always been an active person, most lately playing football, squash and weight training but I put these on hold because I didn't know if these helped. I had read somewhere that my condition sounded like a sweat rash, basically because I was getting rashes around the bottom of my back and around my arm pits. When I visited the doctors they advised me that exercising wouldn't affect this condition so I continued.

Stressed?
The first question your doctor will ask with any skin condition is 'are you stressed?' I thought I wasn't and I still think that but I know one thing that when I exercise my stress levels go down. So I started to think if I exercise and my stress levels go down then I'm not getting worked up and my skin should be okay. this theory is working so far I have to say so I definately advise it to anyone.

Health experts agree that stress levels are reduced significantly and stress can be beaten if you exercise. The adrenal glands start working to produce less testosterone hormones such as DHEA and DHT. And that in turn will have a less adverse impact on the skin.
People who are prone to stress related spots and pimples will find that when they adopt an exercise program, the overall benefits will be a clearer complexion as the pores become unclogged due to the increase in sweat produced. This will also help to control acne flare-ups, which affect many young people today.
What are the benefits of exercising for your skin?
When you exercise you are increasing your bodies circulation which in turn delivers essential nutrients to your body. This could mean you get a good nights sleep for example and gives your skin a chance to recover, your skin actually re-grows every 24 hours.
